Mixing and Mastering
Balancing, treating and finishing audio so that it translates across every system it will be heard on.
Mixing decides how the individual elements of a piece of audio sit together. Mastering decides how that finished mix behaves once it leaves the room — on a phone speaker, in a car, through headphones, down a broadcast chain.
We work through both stages in our treated rooms: balancing and processing the individual tracks, then finishing the result to the loudness and format targets of wherever it is going, whether that is a streaming platform, a broadcaster's delivery spec or a cinema.
